Employ Recruitment is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our touring driver team, supporting live music, events, and corporate shows. Whether you prefer UK-only, Europe-only, or a mix of both — this role gives you full flexibility, great pay, and travel perks.

Touring Driver Pay Options

We use in-house payroll – no umbrella companies.

Option 1: Holiday accrued (to take when you like)
• £160 per day + £25 night out allowance
• Holiday pay accrued separately

Option 2: Rolled-up holiday pay (paid as part of your weekly pay)
• £179.31 per day + £25 night out allowance
• Includes 12.07% holiday pay

• Paid every day you’re away – including rest days

• All travel, flights, hotels covered while on assignment

Touring Driver Role – Job Overview

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles across UK and/or Europe
• Transport stage gear, production kits, and crew
• Daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Comply with all driving laws and regs (UK & EU)
• Support with load-ins/load-outs and site logistics
• Work with lead drivers, tour managers & crews

What You’ll Need

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid DCPC & Tacho card
• Clean driving licence & valid passport
• Minimum 1 year’s HGV Class 1 experience
• Strong communication & teamwork
• Enthusiasm for touring & live events
